When I went through flight school prior to assignment to Vietnam, I was issued these glasses….gold (12 GF) frames then later the issue of gold frames was discontinued. I wore these glasses through my year in Vietnam as a Dustoff, medical evacuation, pilot and for the next couple of decades during my Army career.
