We also used fewer resources to color the insole for a more sustainable design approach. This updated version of the trail shoe features a GORE-TEX™ upper to keep your feet dry in wet conditions. The goal this season has been to improve the fit of the upper, so we implemented a new design that provides more secure support to the midfoot and heel, while the wider toe-box gives the toes all the space they need. Synthetic stitching on the linings is designed to improve durability, protecting your feet and reducing slipping. Underfoot comfort comes from a full AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL™ technology cushioning unit positioned where runners need more effective shock absorption. To increase softness with every step, we’ve included an ORTHOLITE™ insole for excellent comfort. Additionally, the multi-directional grip outsole improves traction on different surfaces. All of these comfort components are complemented by durable properties, such as a stiff rubber outsole, making this shoe a versatile choice for trail activities.
