Used Chech Army Leather Boots men work waterproof Prabos

Description During the Cold War, many Soviet countries looked to Czech-made footwear for comfort and high quality. “Made in Czechoslovakia” was something you would like to see on your feet as much as we would like to see “Made in Austria” or “Made in Finland” today. Prabos, the maker of the M2000 Combat Boot, has been making footwear for the Czech special forces for decades. Known colloquially as “Kanady” or “Canada” boots for their suitability in harsh, cold conditions, these Model 2000 boots were until very recently their premier cold weather boot (we’ve seen many in this lot with manufacturing dates as recent ones like 2016!) Featuring comfortable multi-layer insulation, a non-slip sole design and hydrophobic cowhide leather, you’ll find that they’re both rugged and extremely comfortable. Newer models even feature 3M’s thin insulating material for insulation, a familiar cold climate essential. The padded tongue has holes for ventilation, the insignia of the Czech special forces and the upper part of the boot has a thick padded collar to avoid swelling or bruising your lower calf. They take a lot of design cues from Danish, Finnish and even Swiss boots we’ve sold in the past. If you’re a fan of either of these, you’ll feel right at home on your feet, if not a little more comfortable than their bulky contemporaries.
