Valentino Intimate Multi Floral Print and Peach Lace U/W Balconette Bra
From Valentino Intimate, Style: R07 3301 S01, a very good fitting u/w semi sheer, floral mesh balconette bra with soft pink floral lace over the top of the cups, applique'd over the floral mesh in soft waves. The cups have a vertical central seam up to the lace and the outer half of the cups are lined inside with a second layer of the soft floral mesh, the inner half only has one layer. There is no underband and three flat peach satin horizontal ribbons connect the two underwires together, a peach satin ribbon bow is sewn to the bottom row of peach ribbon, the loops rising upwards and the tails fanning out towards the opposing underwires. The floral mesh is in dark pink, soft pink, peach and two tones of turquoise, the whole bra has a very muted palette. The underwires are picked out with soft pink stitching. The soft peach floral lace over the top of the cups rises in soft waves against the skin, the centre of the open flowers has a shiny lining so it shines through the lace. Where it has been sewn over the mesh there are large waves of the lace so no hard lines spoil its delicacy and flow. Inside the top of the lace there is a narrow band of beige plastic sewn across the top to help keep it in place. This has hardened a bit over time in storage but the warmth of the body should soften it again, (the price has been reduced just in case). The wings and back are unlined and in the floral patterned mesh, the mesh is folded in over a narrow band of flat elastic at the top and bottom of the wings and back, secured with fine, soft pink zig-zag stitching. The front straps have a Valentino metal logo clip, sewn under the top of the outer underwires and then soft turquoise stretchy velvet is sewn through this clip, forming the front straps. Over the shoulders there is a metal ring though which the front straps are looped and the back straps as well. The back straps are also in soft turquoise, flat elastic with captial lettering showing that Valentino Intimate is written along it. These back straps adjust from the top ring downwards with a square metal slider and at the bottom they are sewn inside the back of the bra. The bra fastens with three double rows of peach hooks and eyes on peach fabric. This bra may be machine or hand washed at 30 degrees, use no bleach, do not iron, tumble dry or dry clean.
